Steffen & Colleen Frommer, Owners

Steffen and Colleen Frommer began their HomeWell adventure in January of 2006. The year prior, each partner had lost a brother through death and each had experienced the challenges presented to clients and family members who need care at home. The compassion and understanding that evolved from those experiences drove them to look into starting an in-home care agency here in Anchorage.

Steffen worked as an engineer but has been a supportive and enthusiastic part of HomeWell of Anchorage since the beginning. He continues to be involved with community meetings and events and keeps in contact with the many professionals who have helped make HomeWell of Anchorage what it is today. He is a cheerful influence in the office and offers assistance where he can. He enjoys working on his boat (which needs significant work), watching movies, and spending time with his family and his dog, Cocoa.

Colleen operates the HomeWell office as an RN administrator. Her experience as a nurse and lifelong interest in health and vulnerable populations has been the driving force of the success of HomeWell. She enjoys investing in her personal health through exercise, healthy eating, and dancing. In addition to her love for her business, she also enjoys creative crafts, decorating projects, and belongs to an active book club.
