Hello, my name is Peter Maira. My wife Marisa and I became caregivers for my parents when they moved to Florida in 2005. Without realizing it at the time, we became very compassionate about Care for Seniors. We noticed a need for Quality Care and Accountability in the Senior Care industry so in 2010 we decided to start our own Senior Care Business.

Our HomeWell Senior Care business of Tampa Florida is a family owned and operated Home Health Agency. We are Licensed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and Accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). We are dedicated to quality in home care for Seniors. Offering peace of mind for your loved ones and for you.

My mother is 95 years old and became unable to care for herself after a fall causing a fractured hip. She now requires a live-in caregiver which Peter has supplied through the HomeWell Company. Peter works very hard to meet all of our needs and if something isn’t quite right he is adamant on rectifying the situation in a timely manner. Under the directives of Peter Maira, the caregivers provide the personal care needed throughout the day and strive to provide a clean home and the social attention required as needed, without being overbearing. Meals are prepared and served in the home as required and assistance in going out to dinner or other social events are done with a professional manner and appearance.
